The Koh-I-Noor

This oval-shaped colorless diamond was mined in India in the 1300s. It originally weighed 186 carats but was later cut down into 105.6 carats to increase the sparkle and brilliance. The diamond was taken by the British from India and later it found its place on the crown of Queen Victoria. This diamond is also known as the Diamond of Babur and Mountain of Light. No one has come up with the perfect estimate of the Koh-I-Noor thus far.

The Cullinan

The Cullinan is the largest rough diamond to be found. It weighs about 3106.75 carats. The stone was discovered in Cullinan, South Africa in the year 1905 and was later gifted to King Edward VII. It was cut into 9 pieces among which the Cullinan I is the largest with a weight of 530.2 carats.

The Hope Diamond

This Fancy Dark Gray-Blue antique cushion cut diamond was discovered in India in the 1600s and was bought by King Louis XIV in 1668. It weighed about 45.42 carats and after being stolen in 1791, resurfaced in London in the year 1839. The diamond was donated to the Smithsonian Institution in 1949, after Harry Winston purchased it. There is a belief that the stone is cursed because of the tragedies associated with the life of the previous owners of the diamond.

The Centenary Diamond

The 500 carat weighing original centenary Diamond was cut down into a 273.85 carat heart shaped stone. The re-cutting process of the expert team was 154 days long, but it improved the color and clarity grade of the stone to a great extent.

The Pink Star

Originally known as the Steinmetz Pink, the Pink Star was mined in 1999 in South Africa. The Pink Star was bought by Chow Tai Fook Enterprises from Hong Kong in 2017. This is an internally flawless oval diamond with a weight of 59.60 carats. It was renamed as CTF Pink Star later.
